MISSION To perpetuate traditional dance, music, song, dress & history of Mexico. To increase Mexican progeny’s knowledge & public’s awareness of such heritage.
MFDC showcases richness of Mexican culture & heritage thru festive dancing, diverse musical melodies & breath-taking costumes. Suites reflect pre-Columbian indigenous, Spanish Colonialism, French Intervention, Caribbean, 1910 Mexican Revolution & modern. Mixture of these elements served to develop present dance & music culture that is Just Mexican & unique. Performances are fast-paced, non-stop with many quick costume changes.
Performed for President Reagan, Vice-President Bush, President Clinton and Mexican President Fox.
