Black Willow Brass

Black Willow Brass is one of Chicago’s most unique and thrilling chamber groups. Known for embracing a wide variety of literature — everything from Bach to Brahms, Ragtime to Radiohead, and folksongs to theme songs — the ensemble offers programs for audiences of all ages and interests. Their debut album, Sonntag, will be available in July 2026, and will feature selections from the group’s summertime and holiday music. The ensemble's members all work as musicians and educators, and pride themselves in making technically demanding brass music relatable, moving, and fun!
