Lisa Marie Farver is a typewriter poet, spoken word artist, storyteller, and comedian. She is the founder of Everyone's Type Poetry, which uses old-school typewriters to transform what's at the top of your heart into a moment you can feel with your fingertips.
Her work has been featured by WGN, ABC, NBC, Fox, The John Landecker Show, Block Club Chicago, and Chicago Reader.
Farver is a graduate of Second City's Conservatory, Music Improvisation Conservatory, and Comedy Writing Programs. She regularly performs spoken word poetry at the Uptown Poetry Slam. Her performance poetry and storytelling work has been featured at Women Made Gallery, You're Being Ridiculous, Miss Spoken, Beast Women, That's Poetic! the Written on a Napkin Series, and Chicago Poetry Brothel.
In 2026, Farver was a semifinalist in the Gwendolyn Brooks Open Mic Awards.
Her writing has been published in They Call Us..., Rebellious Magazine for Women, The Art of Coming Back, and more.
